The CTL Workbook
“The Making of the Good Consultant”
(How to market unit trusts effectively)

REVIEWS

Comprehensive and well-researched, I am confident Mike Lee's Workbook on How to Market Unit Trust Effectively will prove helpful to both consultants and investors in understanding the benefits of investing in unit trusts. It contains a lot of useful data such as for example, a comparison with other investments (including EPF dividend trend 1952 to 2004). No doubt, this workbook with its easy to understand illustrations, diagrams and charts will provide both the novice and expert answers to many of the commonly asked questions. I must commend Mike's comprehensive coverage on the whole gamut of issues pertaining to unit trusts; from investment strategies for education and retirement planning to marketing tips to consultants for success and to stay motivated.

I think the CTL Workbook is a comprehensive and well-thought out interactive handbook for both new and experienced financial advisers. The Workbook is, in particular, very user-friendly. With topics ranging from Maximising Returns using EPF Funds to Accounting Ratios for Investments, the Workbook is effectively a planner on a CD.

Your workbook certainly provides the analytical framework for agents to give proper advice. It covers all the major areas which the agents need to know and the computations required to present solutions or trigger the clients’ awareness to their potential problem areas. You have certainly done a good job researching all the relevant investment planning and managing concepts and techniques. I’m sure the agents out in the market will find your CD a valuable tool and a comprehensive source of reference to enhance their professionalism.
